$70.00 for an industrial straight stitch machine; $70.00 for an industrial overlock machine and $70.00 for start-up materials are needed for a sewing project at Huntington Village to benefit youth and women who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. Located adjacent to Kruger National Park, this area has been identified as having one of the largest concentrations of poverty in the country. 70% of the community is not economically active. This is due in part to the fact that they do not have employable skills, have not had access to skills training and do not have the resources available to obtain these skills.
