The African Library Project coordinates book drives in North America to start small libraries in rural schools in Africa. To ensure these libraries are sustained, each school is required to send a teacher-librarian to a training, and each teacher-librarian receives a manual on How To Set Up and Run a Small Library in Africa. These manuals contain instructions on library organization, borrowing systems, reading games for children and more. The manuals will go to print soon for the 2017 shipment of new libraries to Swaziland. Associated Organization: African Library Project.
