The school was completely destroyed by the 2015 earthquake. The school received support from the Nepalese government to reconstruct the school. However, the school did not receive any new furnishings. Therefore, the students are using dilapidated desks or sitting on the floor to learn their lessons. Fifty-five students attend the school. They range in age from 5-12 years old and belong to families of agricultural wage laborers from the Tamang communities.
