children at school in Nepal

Most stores and open-air markets closed when the stay in place order was issued.  The order is enforced by police and soldiers.  Men and boys who made a living on the streets of Kabul pushing wheelbarrows containing  merchandise and women who broom-swept the streets and sidewalks, have had their meager incomes decimated.  For instance, the sweepers work four hours a day, six days a week for $123.00 per month.  Funds will provide their normal diet of bread, rice and tea.  Associated Organization: Trust in Education.
