$25.00 will help pay for the translation and printing of a book called, “This is Home” written by Rania Qawasma-Dana. It contains a wealth of information in a simple format, such as how to use transportation, where key places are located and what services are available. The Salaam Cultural Center has used this book successfully with Syrian refugees and would now like to get it translated into Dari and Pashto, two regional Afghani dialects. The book would be distributed to new arrivals so that they can explore their new home communities with confidence.
