The Karat School Project (KSP) has 87 children. The need for quality and equitable education is a must for children living in extreme poverty. The science materials will be used to introduce STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The equipment will enable students, girls in particular, to have access to hands-on science education. The goals of KSP are to meet the basic needs of women and children to enable them to focus on learning; to close the education gap by offering year-round schooling, health screenings and skills-based training; and to create sustainable, opportunities for financial independence.
