Gaza suffers from frequent power disruptions due to fighting and border closures that keep fuel from entering the territory. Often residents get only five hours of electricity a day. The SCM Medical Missions is requesting lanterns with phone chargers. A team will take the lanterns to Gaza. The lanterns will enable people to charge their cell phones and the children can continue to study in the evenings. People will be able to go about their lives after dark.
