A fully equipped mobile bakery van with three large deck ovens, was purchased by Bake for Ukraine to enable a more flexible response to the food supply crises, by bringing fresh bread right to the frontline communities which need it most. Currently the volunteers are donating the bread to a local refugee hub in Odessa. Bread is an integral part of every Ukrainian home. They use the sourdough palyanytsya recipes which celebrate that cultural history and tradition.
