The national specialized children’s hospital, Ohmatdyt, in Kyiv, is the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine. It is continuing to carry out essential work as the crisis unfolds. This includes life-saving treatment for critically ill children, as well as children and adults wounded by Russian attacks. The Ukrainian woman who submitted this request states: “The full functioning of Ohmatdyt is a matter of national security for Ukraine. Thanks to the dedicated work by Ohmatdyt specialists who continue to remain in Kyiv, despite active shelling and airstrikes by the Russian Federation, timely medical care is being provided to patients in full capacity.”
