Villagers built a school in 2022 when several American teenagers raised money to buy the materials to construct the school. The school currently has two pit latrine toilets which are shared by the students and teachers. The Ministry of Education has informed the school that there must be separate toilets for the girls, at a distance from the boys’ toilets. The villagers will provide the manual labor, including making the bricks by hand and digging the holes for the latrines. A skilled workman will install the roof, doors and toilet covers.
