The situation in Haiti is dire. Sionfonds, an organization that supports the HOW school in Haiti, has requested funds for food. The school, located in the mountains above Port au Prince, educates and feeds several hundred children each day and now is providing food for the elderly. In many cases this lunch is the only meal they receive. Sionfonds has recently added breakfast for the younger children. It consists of locally grown and made peanut butter with bread. Many students have intestinal parasites. Albendozole costs $200 to treat the entire school.
