Seacology partners with the Mandena, Manantenina and Ambohimanarina villages near the Marojejy National Park. This World Heritage Site is home to 10 lemur species. Unfortunately, trees being cleared for timber, land being used for farming and lack of funds have led to the park’s disrepair. In exchange for the villages surveilling and protecting this park, the villages need funds to repair and upgrade the tourist bungalows and restrooms.
