#550 Kenya: Water Tank, Roof and Sanitation

These items are need at Glorious School in Malindi, Kenya. The school has 165 students from Pre-K to Junior High School. The children come from very poor homes. The hope is that with an education one or more members of the family can get a job in the future and lift their family out of poverty. A raised water tank will ensure a consistent water supply for drinking, cooking, sanitation and hygiene. A separate boys’ urinal will promote sanitation, hygiene and dignity. Currently the learners eat lunch in the open grounds, often disturbed by crows and harsh weather, the roof would protect them.
