
Renaissance Sri Lanka helps the children of the fishing families who were the most affected by the sinking of the X-Press Pearl container ship, which polluted much of Sri Lanka’s western coastal waters, depriving families of their livelihood. Renaissance Sri Lanka has identified children who would benefit from the distribution of school supplies in the area of Negombo and along the west coast of Sri Lanka. The children range in age from under 10 to 16 years old.
