#475 Uganda: Hygiene Kits for Refugee Students

Angel's Care School is located inside a refugee settlement in Uganda and provides a safe home, school, and medical clinic for over 1,200 students, mostly escaping conflicts in the neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo. Angels Care is one of the highest performing schools in the region, but something that routinely keeps young girls out of the classroom is the lack of period supplies. If girls cannot attend classes regularly, they can fall behind in their studies and may eventually stop pursuing their education. Simple hygiene kits with period supplies are a basic need for girls to be able to stay in school. Angels Care has 450 young girls in need of a kit.
