In response to the devastation and the hunger situation in Saintiaque, which is among the poorest and most vulnerable communities, there is an initiative to provide food kits to 150 families who are living in this small community in northern Haiti. The lack of rain, the political problems, inflation (13%) and now Covid-19 have made the situation even worse. The food kits are distributed each month. The food includes rice, beans, spaghetti, vegetables and seasonings. Matches also are included.
