The parcel includes: six noodle packages, four cans of fish, a dozen eggs, fortified fish sauce, fortified soy sauce, salt or sugar and an eco bar of soap. On March 16, 2020 schools were closed in Cambodia in response to the COVID 19 crisis. Since that time students have been away from school, medical care and daily food. While school is out of session, the Ponheary Ly Foundation has set up a non-contact food distribution in a remote area of northern Cambodia for approximately 700 students who suffer from extreme food insecurity. The distribution occurs every 10 days at the three primary schools.
